Amy is a gifted CFO and our founder. With over 25 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance, Amy brings a wealth of expertise to Ablaze. Her career spans Big 4 firms, start-ups, and large international companies, equipping her to guide clients through their Founder’s Journey with confidence.

After leaving the corporate world in 2021 to find meaningful work and balance, Amy discovered her true passion: helping founders build businesses they love. Her extensive background and personal insights enable her to offer unique support and guidance.

Based in Laguna Beach, California, Amy enjoys spending time with loved ones, raising her European Doberman, Rhea, personal growth, working out and paddle boarding.

Amy Gonzales

Amy Gonzales, or AG as our team calls her, is our Operations Manager while also working with a few clients directly. AG was a math teacher before coming to Ablaze and over the last year has become our founder’s right hand support as we build Ablaze. AG enjoys seeing the numbers come together and demonstrate how her client’s businesses are growing and where they need more support. She loves to see her clients excited about their financial statements because they know (often for the first time) what is happening in their business.

AG resides in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time reading, camping and is an amazing baker!

Sara Terry

Sara Terry is a seasoned senior accountant at Ablaze, bringing a wealth of experience in construction, manufacturing, intercompany and general accounting. Sara is dedicated to helping businesses achieve financial clarity and efficiency. With a diverse background that spans various industries, Sara has developed a keen eye for detail and strong ability to adapt to different business environments. She is passionate about continuing to grow in her field and making a positive impact through her work at Ablaze Financial.

Sara resides in Mead, Colorado with her husband and daughter. She enjoys spending time in nature, thrifting and listening to podcasts.

Melissa Muller

Melissa Muller is a Senior Account experienced in bookkeeping, day to day accounting and cash flow analysis. She was Amy’s first employee and has grown tremendously over the past couple of years. She really enjoys helping entrepreneurs along their financial journey to success both personally and professionally.

Melissa resides in Oklahoma and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being in nature and practicing Pilates.

Cameron Chan

Cameron Chan is our Director of Finance. With experience across various companies and stakeholders, Cameron excels in tackling finance, capital and strategy challenges for founders and their businesses using advanced modeling, data and statistics. They have worked on projects ranging from major capital asset acquisitions to optimizing low-dollar subscription revenue retention. Cameron's expertise spans economics, statistics, and finance, with a focus on start-ups and growing businesses. Their unique approach combines public economic data, behavioral economics, and private sector insights to find unexpected answers and actionable recommendations.

Cameron lives in Denver, Colorado, and enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and playing competitive volleyball.
